I was reading through a few chapters in Psalms this morning and the Lord just kept showing me different aspects of His character. I love to see more of who He is and I was amazed today verse after verse.
Psalm 62:5-8
5My soul, wait in silence for God only, For my hope is from Him. 6He only is my rock and my salvation, My stronghold; I shall not be shaken. 7On God my salvation and my glory rest; The rock of my strength, my refuge is in God. 8Trust in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah. How amazing is He?? I am in awe of my Savior today. I am so thankful that He has perfected each of these attributes! There is no one greater than He is at doing any of these things. Praise You Jesus for being the Great I Am! This next passage just calls my heart. I pray it is the prayer of Your heart as well.
Psalm 63:1-4
1O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, In a dry and weary land where there is no water. 2Thus I have seen You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and Your glory. 3Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips will praise You. 4So I will bless You as long as I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.
What is He to you today? Rest in Him. Know He is who He says He is in His word. Trust that He loves You more than You can ever understand or fathom!
