Shan has just finished week 2 of his Trim Healthy Daddy journey.  I'm so proud of him.  Not a cheat in the books.  He is noticing increased energy as he's gotten off the sugar and pop as well.  Big win! Week two is notorious for being a stalled out week for many.  If that's you, do not give up!  Just stay the course and it will come off.  Promise!  Shan was a little down about losing 3 POUNDS this week, but I had a pep talk and told him that was actually really great!  He's happy about feeling better, eating good food and that the pounds are coming off. shansweek2 I'll post up Shan's menu here for the past 7 days.  We use very little special ingredients at our house.  I use more than Shan does.  He's prefer meats, dairy, veggies and fruits with a little grains thrown in.  Easy stuff.   I'm only posting his menus for now and not my own.  I'm keeping track of mine in our A Home With Purpose- THM Family Challenge Group on Facebook.  You can join us there if you'd like.  It's a family friendly page for folks doing THM together. SHAN'S 2ND WEEK ON THM:  Wednesday, June 8th- Day 8
  • Breakfast: Two pieces of sprouted bread, 1-2 tsp of butter (a little extra..he's a guy), a cutie(small orange) and 1/2 a protein shake. (E)
  • Lunch: Sausage patties, mozzarella cheese slices and some almonds. (S)
  • Dinner: Two Bratwurst with mustard and some raw veggies (peppers, cherry tomatoes, celery and carrots), cubes of cheese with ranch dressing.  (S)  Just go easy on your tomatoes and carrots.
Thursday, June 9th- Day 9 
  • Breakfast: Two pieces of sprouted toast, 1-2 tsp butter, FP protein shake (fp version). (E)
  • Lunch: Wings, some pizza toppings (S)
  • Dinner: Grilled chicken tenders with cheese and bacon on top, turnip greens, cottage cheese and a side salad. (Cracker Barrel) (S)
Friday, June 10th- Day 10
  • Breakfast- Sausage patties... 4 Bob Evans patties. (S) Hey, what can I say, he was on the run.
  • Lunch- Two slices of Aldi's Sprouted Bread, lean turkey, onion, tomato and mustard. (Sandwich) (E)
  • Dinner- Ribeye steak, meat chili and side salad with ranch. (S) (Texas Roadhouse)
Saturday, June 11th- Day 11
  • Breakfast: 3 eggs, bacon and sausage (S)
  • Lunch: cottage cheese and cashews (late breakfast so this is a snack/lunch) (S)
  • Dinner: chicken breast on the grill, sweet peas and quinoa/kale mix (E)
Sunday, June 12th- Day 12
  • Breakfast- Eggs, cheese and bacon (S) (McD's)
  • Lunch- Potluck at church..Dreamfields pasta and sauce, a few carrots, chicken, berries and ranch. (S)
  • Dinner- 1/2 pound grilled chicken chunks, side salad with ranch (S)
  • Snack: Pork rinds, beef stick and cheese(S)
Monday, June 13th- Day 13
  • Breakfast: Eggs, bacon, cheese (S)
  • Lunch: Salad with chicken, peppers, onions, brown rice, salsa, sour cream, cheese and garlic dressing. (S Helper)
  • Dinner: Two brats with onions and peppers. Strawberries and cream for dessert. (S)
Tuesday, June 14th- Day 14
  • Breakfast:  1&1/4 cups of oatmeal with 1 tsp of coconut oil added, cinnamon and sweetener.  I stir in some egg whites at the end to add protein.  You can't tell they are in there! (E)
  • Lunch: 6 inch wheat subway sandwich, double turkey, lots of veggies and mustard (E)  (a great Drive Thru Sue or..a Stu option.)
  • Dinner: 8 oz sirloin steak, cauliflower/veggie salad. (S)
  • Snack: berries and cream (S)

    Just curious what ya’ll drink? Do you do any of the GGMS or Sippers? I don’t like any of them. so I just drink water or tea with Stevia most of the time. I’m wondering if it is slowing me down.

      We really don’t drink sippers. Shan likes Bai5 Bubbles in Cherry if he really needs to drink some pop. It’s pricy though. If I add anything to my water it’s some True Lemon. We mainly drink water.
