Looking for an easy gift, name tag or ornament to give this Christmas? I have a simple idea for you! When I'm at a garage sale, thrift store or Goodwill, I always keep an eye out for old Scrabble letters or games. I have bought many games for between $1-$2! That is a real deal in my book. One of my favorite things to do with them is to make ornaments. One year I put these on my gifts we were giving to double as a name tag as well. I've had them on my tree for years and they are still in great shape.
Items needed:
Scrabble letters
glue gun or glue
felt
ribbon
scissors
1.) I glued each letter on the felt in a horizontal row. I did place a looped piece of ribbon under the first letter for a way to hang the ornament. (image on the left are ornaments drying.)
2.) Let it dry. When it's dry, then you can cut it out and wrap it up or place it on the gift.
I told you it was easy! This might be a fun project for the kids to do with you for their teachers, grandparents, siblings or cousins. Another easy idea is gluing a magnet strip to the back of the letters so folks can write a message with them.
"I love you."
"God is good."
or even the A,B,C's for a little one.
Hope this gives you some fun idea to do in your home!

I made these for the kids a couple of years ago. I like them! Make sure you use strong glue. Mine popped apart when stored and had to be reglued.
Please drop by and say hello!
Have a wonderful Christmas season!
