Beauty Promised

I have been thinking on a passage since I read it last night.  I even stayed awake mulling over the words.  I love when the Lord speaks to my heart in the night.  The boys were tucked in bed and Shan was watching a Dave Ramsey video.  It was the perfect time for sitting in Jesus' lap.  God led me straight to Ecclesiastes.  I read some of the history of the book and went on to read through it.  We've all heard the "time" verses over and over again.  It's easy to skim and not think on each one.  The verse that grabbed hold of my heart was Ecc. 3:11. 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man's heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end." I'm sure we've all heard that first part of the verse a thousand times!  There's the message preached over and over, the praise songs, the theme at a women's conference.  God has been convicting me more and more to read a whole passage not just a piece of it.  The second half is so important!!  We cannot know what God is doing in our lives and in those around us.  We don't know what tomorrow holds.  The one things we must do is TRUST Him and walk in faith.  I love that he put the good part first...that He would make us beautiful in His time.  No matter what each day may throw our way...it's in His plan.  Blessings and trials mark our lives each day but, He promises beauty to be the end result. This has brought me comfort today.  I pray that You will look at your life in a new light.  Know that God is unchanging.  Know that He has a plan for you...He promises to make you beautiful in His timing!
