So was the original with pumpkin rather than applesauce? Want to share the difference? Just sub pumpkin for the applesause?
I linked the pumpkin poundcake in the post. 🙂 It’s in the first paragraph.
Do you happen to have a plain pound cake recipe? It was something I use to make on special occasions as a kid and would love a guilt free alternitive!
I haven’t YET…but I’ll work on that. I just have this one and the Pumpkin.
Do you think that 12 oz of applesauce is about equal to 3/4 cup? Thanks. this looks soooo yummy….by the way..welcome back to the facebook group…have sooo missed you!
Any sub for eggs
I’ve not tried to be able to say for sure if a chia egg or something would work.
Opps! I already like your page. I would love a really good blender—-Vitamix or Blendtec.
This sounds and looks so yummy! I can’t wait to try it.
The baking blend is FP…right? Sorry new to this. If I were to use the blend instead of oat flour, wouldn’t the carb count be lower? And perhaps I can have extra slice (or two), lol.
I am just confused when you wrote “This will keep your recipe an E and not mess up the fuel” in regards to substituting with oat flour. If I use the baking blend, will it mess up the fuel type?
Thank you.
Oat flour and Baking Blend work in equal amounts for each other. Oat Flour is an “E” ingredient and the Baking Blend is a FP and can be used in any setting. Yes, the carb count would be a bit lower if you used Baking Blend Hope that helps!
I used homemade baking blend and I cut into 16 slices. How many slices do you suggest I can enjoy for my E breakfast?
Kids all loved it!
I am very patiently waiting for morning lol.
I just made your apple cinnamon pound cake. When you say 12 oz unsweetened applesauce is this by weight (on a scale) or liquid. My cake came ou very moist but was delicious. Thank you for so any great recipes.
I just made the apple cinnamon pound cake and it is very good. It came out very moist. Is the 12 oz unsweetened applesauce by weight on a scale or is it 12 oz liquid measure?
It was the size of my jar. 🙂
